Mac Mail for Macintosh OS X
- Open Mac Mail.
- Click Mail on the tool bar and select
Preferences from the menu.
- Click Create Account.
- Select the Account Information tab.
- Select POP Account as the account type and enter the
following information:
- In the "Email address" field, enter your full email address
including domain (i.e. "jamesb@speedbeam.com").
- In the "Full Name" field, enter your name as you would like
people to see it.
- In the "Host Name" field, enter
mail.speedbeam.com.
- In the "User Name" field, enter your full email address
including domain (i.e. "jamesb@speedbeam.com").
- In the "Password" field, enter the password for your email
account as specified by your SpeedBeam representative.
- In the "SMTP Host" field, enter
smtp.speedbeam.com.
- Check the box marked "Use authentication when sending
mail".
- In the "User Name" field, enter your full email address
including domain (i.e. "jamesb@speedbeam.com").
- In the "Password" field, enter the password for your email
account.
- Then, press OK to save the configuration
